Install help needed: Intel 536 and UT2004

Hello, I am having problems installing 2 things on linux and I get the feeling the problems maybe related to the same thing but not sure. The two things I am trying to install are Unreal Toruament 2004 and the drivers to a Hardware Intel 536 (I know that part should probably go in hardware...)

The problems on UT2004 is it gets into install and it says please mount play CD. The thing is I have the DVD version so the Play CD is on the DVD but it doesn't seem to like it...

in the shell it opens there is the error message

GTk - Warning**, unable to locate loadable module in module_path "libxfce.so"

it displays that 8 times and then complains it cant create file home/berwick/ut2004: file exsits
I looked in there deleted that file and then next time... it did it again...

for my modem, I follow the instructions in readme.txt as it says but on command make 536 to make the intel536.o I believe, It messes up. it says
/lib/modules... autoconf.h does not exsit
please install kernal path
make: *** [check] error 1

My feeling is that there maybe a directory in the wrong place that both are trying to speak to causing the error. The UT2004 one isn't such a big one since I do have it succesfully installed on windows. I just wanted to try UT2004 in 64 bit but I am not going to download the 64-bit patch until I have it installed first.

Oh! Oh! I am having that problem too! Just got the modem today! I was trying to get a linux compatible modem, and this modem was advertised that way on ebay. The guy says he's sold thousands of these modems and hasn't had much trouble with it. I'm running Fedora Core 1. NE1 know what to do?

Okay. I figured out the autoconf.h thing. Just plug in your Fedora Core installation CD (disc 1). There should be something about adding packages (you know that long list of stuff you could choose to install or not when you were installing Fedora?). I think it was about 2/3 of the way down, there is a package called something like "source files". Add that package and install it (I think it requires disc 3). That will fix the autoconf.h error. Now if I can just get that doggone modem to work!!!

btw, sorry the details are sketchy on the above. I figured this out about three days after posting my last message and I never got around to posting the answer.

Thanx!
