install flash player 9 on Yellow Dog

I have Yellow Dog 6.0 and I am trying to install flash Player 9. I use the rpm from Adobe and it installs fine but firefox doesn't recognize the player. What do I do?

Try copying or symlinking libflashplayer.so from it's installation directory to ~/.mozilla/plugins.

also when i use the package manager the rpm is called flash-plugin - 9.0.115.0 release.i386 - Adobe Flash Player 7 . If this is supposed to be flash player 9, then why does it say 7? Is there a more up to date version?

Apparently Flash 9 is not available for Yellow dog 6. I have found a petition site for it at:

http://playstation3-homebrew.blogspo...and-flash.html

Please send a request.
