Instalation Problems Mandriva (Mandrake) Linux 2006
 

I need help with installing Linux Mandriva, Limited 2006 Edition (Came with
magazine, 3 cd\'s) I have 2 Hard drives, one totally empty and One almost full, One with Windows XP. I'm trying to install this copy of Mandriva On the Empty one, It doesn't work. it freezes on the Loading screen after the first screen. (Press F1 for more Options, Press Enter to install.) so then i tried to install it Via text only... It stopped here:

HDA: Imax request size=1024Kib
HDA: Lost Interrupt
HDA: Lost Interrupt

Please Help me. thank you

Is that empty HD working ? In good condition ?

Try to use scandisk from WIndowz and see what it says.

Yes it is working, I haven't even specified which drive i want to install to.

I mean the drive is working not Linux
