Angry Insallation tree not found in RH9


Fresh install of Red Hat9. Every thing seems fine but if I try to install any RPM's I get an error that the installation source is invalid. mnt/cdrom. I can't install and programes thru add/remove programes.
Any help would be Great.

mount /mnt/cdrom
before the install?

I have every thing installed just fine. The problem is if I try to install any rpm I get the error that the installation tree is invalid.Then it shows me tha source as mnt/cdrom.
