INIT NOT FOUND + HDA(x) NOT FOUND
 

Hi,
i have Mandrake 9.2 and i recently discovered that linux failed to boot. It loads a little then it said INIT not found, kernel panic... The problem is I think that my linux partition is corrupted because when i use a little tool named "Explore2Fs" in windows, (for browsing my linux files), i can only see the HDA6 partition (my home partition). I'm in multiboot with lilo, lilo works well. I multiboot Win98 and XP.

how can I repair my hda1 and restore it (not sure of the number, i don't remember and i'm a newb in linux)

I don't have the mandrake CDs :( because we installed it at school in like a kind of linux party.

Please Help! What can i do without linux CDs?? Is there any tool that can help recovering a ext3 partition?? My problem is that one of my linux's partitions is not recognized. My swap and my home partition look OK in the tool "LTOOL6.9" but the main partition is named as "Win Ex Par" partition. The swap and the home description are 'linux swap' and linux ext2

Please can I download a bootdisk or something??

I don't want to remove linux, i want to learn more about it. I have a stupid 56K modem, please help i can't download it and reinstall!!! If i don't repair it, I will just return to windows like many others do.
