I want to use my CRT threw a VGA output and my LCD threw a DVI output.
I use Xorg to do this.
My only problem so far is that I can't change resolution, nor frequency in any monitor.
These monitors are incompatible.
They don't share 1 resolution and frequencie between them.
Having them at an unknown res and freq is not a long term choice.
I'll post my xorg.conf on pastebin when i get home and post it here.
I want to write my xorg.conf by hand so tools for this will be last resort.
I use Ubuntu by the way...
I want my Sony Trinitron MultiScan 200ES threw VGA output at 1024x768@85Hz, and my Dell UltraSharp 1907FP threw DVI at 1280x1024@60Hz.
Where do I start learning in order to do this?
I'd look for it on Google, but look for what?
I've tried some TwinView sort of deal, but I think that makes me have 1 big desktop, and that is not my plan. Although I'll take anything, because so far it looks like it can't be done correctly.
