Import Messages from Outlook Express 6 into Thunderbird

I have two PCs, one running XP with OE 6 and the other running Mandriva with Thunderbird.
How can I import my email messages from OE? I copied the email folder to my linux machine with no problem, but when I try to ust Thunderbird's import utility, it only gives me an option for Communicator 4.

I think your best option is to install Thunderbird on your Windows machine and import email from OE& from there (here's a link that explains how)

After that you should be able to copy tha data into the corresponding thunderbird folder in Mandriva manually. It's located under ~/.thunderbird/<random generated number>/Mail/<accountname>
