IMAP trouble....

Hello all...
I am having trouble with IMAP...I am currently running SuSE Linux 8.2 Pro, with Postfix and UW IMAP. I think I have Postfix working, since I can send mail out, and receive mail, but I cant connect clients to the IMAP server. I get the following errors: If I try to telnet (telnet mailserver 143) I see a part in the server status that says "LOGINDISABLED" How do I enable it. Also when I check my logs, it says something like:
"imapd: Login disabled user=ehazlett auth=ehazlett" etc...
I have searched other forums, and Suse's knowledge base, and even called them (included support doesnt go far ;( )

Someone please help....

Thanks,

evan hazlett
