I have never used trustix but your are suffering from typical rpm dependency hell. Apt-get is wonderful in that it will download everything it needs off of the internet instead of complaining to you like rpm will. If you are a gui guy then I also suggest synaptic, a front-end for apt. Try installing apt4rpm and then do

apt-get ImageMagick

mm
i also get errors on the apt4rpm install.
I was unsure what package to go for.

root@localhost /home/users/tommy# rpm -Uvh apt4rpm-0.67-0.noarch.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
perl-XML-LibXML is needed by apt4rpm-0.67-0
wget is needed by apt4rpm-0.67-0
apt-server is needed by apt4rpm-0.67-0

ok, hopefully this will help

perl -MCPAN -e shell

will give you the interactive CPAN shell where you can automaticly get LibXML with a simple.

install LibXML

from the 'cpan>' prompt. The next order of business is installing wget.

ok, you need to install wget,

http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i386.rpm.html apt-server for SuSE. YMMV

Hi .

A mate and i have been working on ImageMagick for Trustix for some time. we had to install a few other things and it seems to be ok.

I'm just testing the gallery now on a Trustix box.

every thing seems to be ok, but i think my httpd is not reading php files ?

I can see its installed at /usr/lib/php

but were do i turn it on so i can see the page, right now all i see is text code. when loading the galley.

i'm in my /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.config file now

am i looking for modules ?
