Image viewing software
Just wondering what people recommend for image viewing software.
I basically want the equivilant of ACDSee, something very simple and fast that will view pictures, and that will allow me to scroll through the directory with pgup/pgdn. Thanks Floyd |
Try XnView
You should definitely try XnView, available at www.xnview.com
(donīt mind the .com, itīs freeware). Itīs available for many platforms (Linux x86, Linux ppc, OpenBSD x86, NetBSD x86, FreeBSD x86, Solaris Sparc, Solaris x86, Irix mips, HP-UX, AIX and MS Windows). I was using it on Windoze first, where it replaced ACDSee for me and now am happy with it on Linux (~1 year of use). Ingo. |
I'm pretty content with "Pixie Plus"
Comes with the SuSE distribution. You can also get it from the KDE ftp-site. Does indeed have the "ACDSEE" features you mention , but I find it actually working a little better than that one. |
gqview here.
