Hello I am having troubles with wine .Let me talk you through my whole process of what I did .I went and got the rpm from good ole source forge ,I'm on RH9 i686 so I got the latest RH9 i686 package and installed it using rpm -i with not errounious messages. Then I ran the winecfg made a fake C;/ in my /home/sicone then set it to win98 24 bit cause I get an error on 32 .After all that sets up I install and run winesetuptk .It seems like its all good and installed ...but no. I can run notepad no probs . So I install the ie install script get quit a few error msgs but it installs and I can run it and it pops up ..and dosnt do a dang thing . I installed Half Life and it went thorught and said it was done .so I went to run it and it startes up and froze on the main screen with the audio continuing ! So I decided to uninstall and remove wine and start over .So I guess I need all the help I can get any would be apreciated.
