Question If you have any idea for converting PDF to Excel,come in and help me


hi,guys.
My boss told to me convert data saved as a PDF file to a microsoft excel file but I failed to do so.
That file containing more than 3600 pages but I don't know what to do.Who can help me?
Thank you for any help!!!

If the pages are scans, I don't know of an easy way to do so (ocr software maybe?). If the content is text that you can copy to the clipboard, the best I can suggest is to convert it to txt first, and then import it to excel.

Yeah, if it was scanned in or printed to pdf you may need to use OCR. I recommend tesseract.

If it is text based try 'pdftotext', then make it look like a CSV (comma or tab separators) and import to a spreadsheet and save to xls.
