idesk... fluxbox takes forever to load

I installed idesk and it works. But in my .xinitrc file (idesk
exec fluxbox I need to open a aplication and then close it. Is there some startup script for fluxbox that I could use? Or is there something I can do to fix the .xinitrc problem?

Thanks,

If you have a new version of fluxbox you can use startfluxbox;
/home/yourname/.xinitrc
Code:
exec startfluxbox
after you do this the first time a file will be created;
/home/yourname/.fluxbox/startup
