Hi guys,

i recently installed fluxbox on my Mandy 9.1 & i am very happy with it. it's pretty "clean" & simple. but now i would like to put some icons on my desktop. i installed iDesk, becuase i read that fbdesk is still not runniing very good on Fluxbox. now the problem is how to start iDesk & how to put icons on desktop. is there something like a simple guide for it, or can you explain to me how that works.
i am a newbie, so i have lots to learn about Linux. i will appreciate your help

ok ill show how i fix it after reading a little in fluxbox.org
i put a file named .xsession in my $HOME directory. if u want to run idesk from there just put three lines.

fluxbox & wmpid=$!
idesk &
wait $wmpid

i use this way cause i run gkrellm, fluxter, root-tail and idesk in this file, so its more easy to me. look for more info at fluxbox site
