id3toolmac

To whom it may concern,

I am trying to install id3tool on mac osx from the command line and when I go into the id3tool directory and input the command ./configure this is what comes up:

loading cache ./config.cache
checking for a BSD compatible install... (cached) /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... (cached) yes
checking for working aclocal... missing
checking for working autoconf... found
checking for working automake... missing
checking for working autoheader... found
checking for working makeinfo... found
checking for gcc... (cached) gcc
checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables

Does anyone know how I can get what is missing? I know I need to install darwin ports but is there no other way to get what is missing? Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.
