ictfax install centos

Hi All

Im trying to install ictfax (http://ictfax.org/) to create a fax to email server however following the install guide is a complete pain! parts of the install work some dont so I was wondering if someone has installed this software and who can give some easy steps that will actually work?

Im installing onto CentOS 5.8
