ICQ2GO Client on Redhat 9

I'm using the icq2go client under redhat 9 and with mozilla 1.4. I icq2go client works fine but if I chat with some one that is using a windows machine they can't read some of my characters like (danish characters). The same goes for me when they write something to me. I think it is a Unicode problem but I don't know how to fix it.

Regards
