icewm and xfce themes

I have icewm and love it, and also wish to use xfce4's xffm. I can do so, however I get a generic 'look' since the xfce4 theme settings do not transfer into icewm. This also is the case with gnome apps so I assume this is a gtk issue.
I want to be able to use xffm in icemw and have it be themed rather than it being very 'rough'.
So....
What can I do?
I am able to run xfce-settings-show and that automatically themes it, but having a big settings panel pop up every time I start icewm is not appealing. There must be a way to get around this as I do not actually have to change any settings, it(xfce-settings-show) just has to start.

Thanks

xfce uses gtk / gnome themes, so you just need to pick a gtk theme that suits you. IF you don't have gnome installed, then i'd recommend getting the gtk-theme-switch package, which should include the switch2 script. this will let you pick a gtk theme in a nice, ordely, gui-ised manner without actaully having gnome installed.
