Iceweasel Bookmarks and Firefox

Hi,

I installed dual boot XP and Debian

I used Firefox for years and wanted to import the bookmarks.html form Firefox to Iceweasel. However, upon doing a file search for "bookmarks.html" for iceweasel I could not find the file.

I tried File > import to import the bookmarks from firefox witout success. I wanted to copy the bookmarks.html file from winxp Firefox and replace the bookmarks file in Iceweasel. Therefore I would have the bookmarks from Firefox.

Now for the question, How does Iceweasel store the bookmarks? Is it the same as Firefox in an html file?

If not how can I import the bookmarks from firefox to iceweasel?

Any answers? :study:

I figured it out :)

Upon fooling around with Iceweasel I figured it out!

Iceweasel > Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks > File> Import ...

Search for the bookmarks.html file in windows/document and settings/me /application data/Mozilla/Firefox/profiles/bookmarks.html

Import the bookmarks and great they are all there!
