Icecast and audio recording on one sound card
I have a computer at the local radio station that records everything aired into two hour chunks and encodes them to mp3. It takes the audio from the Line In port. Now the Radio Station wants to start broadcasting via Icecast (with a local source client that broadcasts it to a remote server), preferably on that same computer. I installed the muse streamer, but it complained that the soundcard was in use (it's being used for recording). So how could I set it up so that both applications are happy. BTW, Muse streamer for ubuntu doesn't support mp3, is there another streamer with a frontend?
