I want OpenOffice to start in online view

Can I set the OpenOffice word processor to open in online layout instead of print layout?

1.) Record a macro where you just switch the view to "online view", save it
2) Go to "Extras" --> "Modify??" (the one over "Options")
3.) Choose the right tab ("Events" I guess).
4.) Assign the recorded macro to the right event, for example when starting the program, opening a document etc. -- make sure to choose between a general assignment or assigning this just to the opened document (in the upper right corner).
5.) Enjoy

Don't know the english menu entries, since I have the German version of OpenOffice.org. But I think you will find the right entries in your menu

Well, you got no reply, so after my holiday I can give a cue

You should find the command under "Extras" --> "Macros" --> "Record Macro"
You will at once go in record mode and a button should appear that is named like "stop recording" or similar. Do what the macro should later do for you -- switch to Online view. Then click the "stop recording", type in a name for the macro.
Then go on like I have written above.
