Smile i want gvim on my Fedora Core distro

At CSULB, were i attend, they have a gui verison of vim. I think it uses GTK or something. Anyways, at my house i decide to install linux becuase i liked it so much at school. I have Fedora Core 1 installed. I am able to use the normal vim, but i would like to use the gui verison of vim the school has. 'gvim' is all i have to type to launch the app. If anyone can point me to a tutorial or the files i would need to get this setup i would be very thankful! thanks in advance.

maybe version?
the installed vim-common may be in diff locations [was a diff package] when installed.

Reinstall the correct rpm package version.
