i have a problem installing client informix in centos. my english is very poor.I am going to explain the proble what i have.
my system is:
- linux distribution: centos 4 (kernel 2.6.9-34)
- gcc version: 3.4.5
- glibc: 2.3.4 (i have installed glibc-common,glibc-devel,glibc-headers,glibc-profile,glibc-utils and glibc alls version 2.3.4)
- client informix: IBM Informix Client SDK V2.90.UC4 for Linux x86 RHEL3, 32-Bit (clientsdk.2.90.UC4.LINUX)
before of install csdk i do this:
useradd -g informix -d /opt/informix informix
now, i install csdk. i have not errors in the installation. the installation is complete succesful.
when make 'ldd /opt/informix/lib/cli/iclis09b.so' say this:
libifgls.so => /opt/informix/lib/esql/libifgls.so (0x00801000)
libifglx.so => /opt/informix/lib/esql/libifglx.so (0x00bf1000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0x00253000)
libm.so.6 => /lib/tls/libm.so.6 (0x0094a000)
libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x00d93000)
libcrypt.so.1 => /lib/libcrypt.so.1 (0x0039a000)
why i have this problem ?? the shared libraries are bad install ??
that I can do ?
