Please,
i am a student from europe and i am already in USA, in Pittsburgh MA. I have forgotten my linux cds at home and i need bootable debian or slackware to boot computer and to repair lilo. Can you help me?
Try anyone in the computer lab at your school. Or, ask if you can get a copy at a local computer shop. There should be an easy way to get lilo repaired. If you can get to the internet somewhere and have a floppy, dowload any of the debian rescue images off the debian ftp site (try the woody directory). You'd only need the first floppy. Good luck.
Easily, if he can find it. Anything that allows you to bootstrap your machine should work. If I read it right, he needs to find that media. (Magazine, perhaps?)
