I need a Fax Server


Hi all, I am searching for a free Fax server in Linux .. I found hylafax server but I am not friendly dealing with it, anyone knows fax server for Linux

"not friendly dealing with it"??? What does that mean? And what version/distro of Linux?

Hylafax is the best one out there, in my opinion. Lots of documentation for it, and Google can lead you to other fax server solutions for Linux as well.

Hylafax server problem

I am having a problem with Hylafax server, I built up the server successfully, the problem is when i send from the server to another fax machine, the machine prints the fax all with empty pages example if I am sending a fax of PDF file that has 10 pages .. all the 10 pages are printed but empty pages .. I also tried sending .doc .. & .ps but papers also are empty .. Can anyone help me telling me were is the problem .. I am using Ubuntu Server .. Thanks alot

I tried it on Ubuntu server it went good, easy & fast but their is something wrong when I send faxes from this server to any other fax machine the papers are printed empty example if i send a fax of 10 pages to the other fax machine .. 10 pages are printed but they are empty !! did that happen with you or do you have any solution for that Thanks

Thanks alot I found the solution by my own just adding a line in the conf file everything went ok : )
