I deleted /etc/sudoers and creates a new file call sudoers but now it doesnt for visudo to be the only editor.

How do I get it back so only visudo can edit it?

Wouldn't think sudeors filehad any special settings. Only think it is read only to owner and group permissions, Forbidden to all. Easy fix would be to pull a copy sudeors from your install disk whether tar or rpm.
