I compiled javascript from source, what to remove before installing?

I compiled javascript from source, js-1.8.5 from the js185-1.0.0.tar.gz package. I'm using Fedora 16 x64. I'd like to try it but I need to know which rpm
package to remove first. Here is the output from running "rpm -qa|grep js":
qjson-0.7.1-4.fc15.x86_64
gjs-1.30.0-1.fc16.x86_64
json-glib-0.14.0-1.fc16.x86_64
hpijs-3.11.10-7.fc16.x86_64
python-simplejson-2.1.6-1.fc16.x86_64
libproxy-mozjs-0.4.7-1.fc16.x86_64
js-1.8.5-7.fc16.x86_64
json-glib-devel-0.14.0-1.fc16.x86_64
gnome-js-common-0.1.2-4.fc15.noarch
I suspect it would be js-1.8.5-7.fc16.x86_64_but I'm not even sure if the source I compiled is 64 bit. I have both 32 and 64 bit gcc installed. The reason
I'm doing all this is because I use Elinks text browser a lot and with javascript enabled it crashes a lot. I never had this problem with Elinks before. The
version of Elinks I'm using is 0.12pre5 64 bit, the one that came with the installation DVD. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I'm not a Fedora user, but I'd say that's the right package to uninstall. Of course, the better solution is to install your javascript locally instead of system-wide. For example, in $HOME/.local. Then make sure $HOME/.local/bin is in your $PATH before /usr/bin and the other system directories.

Use the file command to determine if an executable is 32- or 64-bit. For example, when I build javascript on my multilib machine
Code:
 andrew@aragorn ~/MyBuilds/js/js
It is 09:20:24 on Sun Feb 26
 [gmake -f Makefile.ref all] --> file Linux*/js
Linux_All_DBG.OBJ/libjs.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, not stripped
