I cant uninstall backintime

Ok so I installed Backintime. Not through rpm but I downloaded the tarball and installed it that way. it was doing weird things to our samba permissions so I wanted to uninstall it. I went to the directory containing the makefile and typed "make uninstall". it said that there was no target "Uninstall." does this mean I cant uninstall it?

thanx

seems you have to remove it manually...
maybe it installed into a single directory? Or are there binaries in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin ?
