Angry I cant install ttmkfdir! It refuses to compile.

Arg! I've never been more iritated about a program in my LIFE!

Ok, I downloaded ttmkfdir.tar.gz. I unpack it. I make. freetype.h is not found. So I download FreeType 1.1 and install it. I make, and freetype.h is still not found. Duh. I have to edit the Makefile in the ttmkfdir to point to the base install of FreeType 1.1 and the include/lib directories. So, I make the base directory

the include directory

and the lib directory

I make, it gets past the freetype.h because that file is in the include directory, but, it refuses to use, even though it told me to download FreeType 1.1, which I did, and that's the library that came with it. It just gives me hideous errors.

Has anyone had any luck installing ttmkfdir?

I just copy the ttmkfdir.linuxbin.glibc2 binary to /usr/local/bin/ttmkfdir
"su -c cp ttmkfdir.linuxbin.glibc2 /usr/local/bin/ttmkfdir"
