i can run firefox browser only under root user

am i missing something that will make me able to run it as regular user?

BiThian 08-22-2006 11:26 AM

Can you post the error you receive when you try to run it as a regular user?

zowey 08-22-2006 11:32 AM

there's no error, it's more like a problem 'you don't have permission', but it doesn't give any announcements
I wasn't first in users group, but i put myself in and that surely doesn't give any help.
i need hint, because this is not big problem and i don't have experience with these kind

BiThian 08-22-2006 11:35 AM

Probably you should set the permissions to 755

zowey 08-22-2006 11:50 AM

no, no, the file is completely executable,
maybe i should made some new profile for regular user, i read something something about it
