try xmodmap -e "pointer = 2 1 3" (or whatever, depending how many buttons you have, use xev to test.)
|
[root@Mdk a]# xmodmap -e "pointer=2 1 3"
xmodmap: unknown command on line commandline:0 xmodmap: 1 error encountered, aborting what's wrong? |
space around the = I think?
|
[root@Mdk a]# xmodmap -e "pointer = 2 1 3"
xmodmap: commandline:0: bad number of buttons, must have 7 instead of 3 xmodmap: 1 error encountered, aborting. [root@Mdk a]# xmodmap -e "pointer = 2 1 7" xmodmap: commandline:0: bad number of buttons, must have 7 instead of 3 xmodmap: 1 error encountered, aborting. how? |
why?
|
then define all 7, such as "pointer = 2 1 3 4 5 6 7" or whatever works for you..
|
[a@Mdk a]$ xmodmap -e "pointer = 2 1 3 4 5 6 7"
xmodmap: commandline:0: bad number of buttons, must have 5 instead of 7 xmodmap: 1 error encountered, aborting. [a@Mdk a]$ |
THEN USE 5
