i broke grub... not saving using yast

hi,

ok i;v broke grub, it will not save using yast, it just sits on 'save boot loader configuration files' and thats it... it dosnt throw any errors, just hangs

and also, i cant change the mount location of a windows partition, its mounted to / for some reason, its in NTFS with windows server 2003 installed on it. when i try and change the mount location it just gives me an error 'system error code -3002'

but my main problem is grub as i;m using the installation dvd to boot the system.

thanks
Philly

Post your /boot/grub/menu.lst and /etc/fstab. The information to make correct bootloader config is in those files.

Then you can manually edit menu.lst to fix it. But first, we need to know what's wrong, and what to put in it's place.
