grattonizer LQ Newbie Registered: Jun 2008 Posts: 5 Rep:	Hylafax: faxstat no modem Hi I am running Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS. I have installed Hylafax but when I do faxstat it returns 'Hylfax scheduler on server: running' but doesn't show the modem status. The modem is an external USB modem and lsusb shows the device as a Zoom Telephonics. I have another set up that is using the same modem and that is working without any problem with the same version of Ubuntu, same modem and Hylafax version. wvdial initializes the modem and shows sending: ATZ and then OK
