httpd: Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run
The httpd has been dying and needs to be restarted, every couple of days. The system is used for teaching and lots of student error messages get logged to error_log
I am not sure if it is an apache problem, php, or to many errors being logged.
These are the error messages that stood out in the error_log.
[warn] pid file /usr/local/apache2/logs/httpd.pid overwritten -- Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run?
[notice] Apache/2.0.48 (Unix) configured -- resuming normal operations
These error messages are also present.
[error] [client] Premature end of script headers: category_id_script.cgi, referer: httpxxxxx/students/xxxxxx/view.htm
[error] [client] dumped core = 0, referer httpxxxxx/cgi-bin/students/xxxxxx/ABI_query.pl
I have searched for information regarding these error messages, but have not come up anything, since I do not know which application is causing me the problem.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks
