httpd start failure on linux
Hi,
I am trying to create a chroot package for Apache + PHP. However, when I try to run the command from my chrooted dir :
/data1/testforum5/etc/init.d/httpd start
I got the following error:
Starting httpd: /usr/sbin/httpd: relocation error: /lib/tls/libc.so.6: symbol _rtld_global_ro, version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in file ld-linux.so.2 with link time reference [FAILED]
I tried to find this on google and didn't get a good solution. Here is my system's info:
Linux WEB9 2.6.9-5.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Jan 5 19:30:39 EST 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
[]$ ldd -v /lib/tls/libc.so.6
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x006d1000)
Version information:
/lib/tls/libc.so.6:
ld-linux.so.2 (GLIBC_2.1) => /lib/ld-linux.so.2
ld-linux.so.2 (GLIBC_2.3) => /lib/ld-linux.so.2
ld-linux.so.2 (GLIBC_PRIVATE) => /lib/ld-linux.so.2
ld-linux.so.2 (GLIBC_2.0) => /lib/ld-linux.so.2
Could anyone here knows this library kind of issue give me some helps ?
Many thanks
Sam
