html/php editor - advice needed
I did a little bit with Quanta and Bluefish now, and I'm missing some functios in both of them. All that i'm looking for is highlighting (sensible and correct highlighting!). And a suggestion box that lists possible arguments would be nice.
Quanta will not recognice it's php if I use <?php ?>, and I'm not going to use <script language="php"></script>
I have a life! :P
That eliminates that very handy dropdown menue that lists the possible arguments...
And that is what I really miss in Bluefish... It gets the highlighting right, and it can change special vowels (üäö) within a mouseclick - an apparent impossibility in quanta*... But I have to look up arguments manually, If I forgot one.
*I tried to use recode (recode -d latin1..h4), but it screws up my code... it worked once, now it acts funny.
Now... some people have suggested eclipse. Which seems a bit overkill, but why not. But as soon as I create a *.php file it automatically opens it with Bluefish. If anybody knows how to do it in Eclipse, that would be nice.
