Umm.. would you be referring to the ls command, to list files and dir's on your hard drives ?

skull_face 01-12-2003 10:48 PM

that sounds like what i want

skull_face 01-12-2003 10:52 PM

how do i that

trickykid 01-12-2003 11:00 PM

at a prompt type:

ls

cd to change directories

These are some really basic commands, you might want to try and search for some basic howto's to know how to navigate thru a Unix type filesystem.

been too busy to really sit down and learn Linux cmds, Im going to later in the year after my wrestling year is over.

If you don't have a few minutes to review some of the basic commands, then you might want to hold off on the whole linux thing til then, or its just going to be frustrating and confusing to you.

I don't mean to come off rude, but most here would want you to know how to do the most basic stuff before asking questions. It just speeds up the process of answering your questions faster.
