howto? samba share NTFS mount to W2K client

It all works, up until I try to use the darned thing! :)

On linux-server I've set up SAMBA manage shares. I've two shares so far: /home/test and /C. The first is a reiserfs, while the second is a NTFS.

No problems using either of these locations on the server, but the client is more finicky

Specifically, when w2k-client attempts to access the /C share, an alert pops with the following:

Quote:

\\linux-server\C is not accessible

The network name could not be found.

Clearly, something is off...

TIA
