How_To install &run Java on RHEL 4

Hi,
Having trouble install & run Java on Redhat.
Downloaded the "jdk-1_5_0_12-linux-i586.rpm".
What's the next step?
Just try to run "hello world".

The next thing is to run:
Code:
rpm -ivh jdk-1_5_0_12-linux-i586.rpm
to install the jdk.

1,#rpm -ivh jdk**.rpm
2,set the var JAVA_HOME PATH and JRE_HOME
