HowTo disable LCP echo request


Hello to everybody! Anyone know how I can disable LCP echo request in a ppp connection with pppd?
I've commented lcp-... line in ppp.options script, but the connection try to negoziate LCP echo request and falls down

Perhaps the "passive" or "silent" options?

no results

I've already tried it without results. I've read that for resolv my problem (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...3&goto=newpost) I must disable LCP....
