Howto Create a PhotoCD

Can any body tell me how to create a PhotoCD in Linux to play in dvd players for my friends and family?

I normally just burn pics to a cd, throw it in a DVD player and of it goes.

Sorry for the tardy response.

I used no special techniques.
I simply burned a bunch of jpegs ,or a folder of jpegs to a CD using K3b.
The DVD players I have put them in picked up the CD and either auto-played
them or gave me a menu.
