Howdo I open a file in Gimp 2 from the command line?

GQview used "gimp-remote -n %f" to load a selected picture in the Gimp. This worked fine with Gimp 1.2, however, it doesn't seem to work with Gimp 2. Any ideas?

Are you trying to open without an existing gimp window or image already open? According to the man file, gimp has to be running currently.

I tried it with Gimp already open, & it still does not work. What man page are you referring to?
