How to use USB Camera Under Linux

Any good software for usb camera to capture pictures or vedio under linux?
If you use some, please tell me about it.

I use camorama ( and camstream ( and both works well.

For webcams you can use gnomeeting and for digital camera picture upload to your box you can use gtkam.
