How to upgrade my Thunderbird

I have downloaded the upgrade rpm for Thunderbird as I am running .8 now. I have tried to install the 1.5 upgrade, but, as it requires, I put in the DVD and it just either wants to reinstall .8 or actually does so, depending on if I abort it first or not. How on earth do I make YAST do what it is supposed to do?

If you have the rpm just use the console in su mode and type:

rpm -Uvh <rpmnamehere>.rpm

If you dont have the rpm heres a link to one
ftp://ftp.pbone.net/mirror/download....1.5-6.i386.rpm
ignore the fact that it is for FC 5 it should work fine for your distro - you may need to find the dependencies (if there are any that you don't have
