I have dual boot windows 2000 and Redhat 8.0, how can I upgrade to Redhat 9.0 with windows2000 dualboot?
- What Redhat 9.0 files do i know to download?
- and then how can i use this files to upgrade current 8.0 to 9.0?

malomairy,

I downloaded the RH 9 isos CDs. Then I placed the first CD and rebooted (made sure cdrom booted first) and the selected 'upgrade' during the install.... sit back for awhile like you did for the RH8.

One thing I noted was that I had to reinstall/recompile some of my modules (am I saying this right?) afterwards:
i) my nvidia video card drivers (re-run installer)
ii) winmodem driver
iii) ntfs module

The kernel goes up to 2.4.20-8.

Hope this help malomairy? It went fine for me. It was on a dell inspiron p1.8GHz 4 laptop with 384Mb of ram.
