How to uninstall old version of KDE

Hi Guys

A while back I installed KDE3.4 and I am very happy with it. I am running Madrake 10.1 Official - anyway I want to remove the old KDE - I think it was KDE3.2

How do I do that without breaking anything.

Thanks
Shelton.

How did you install KDE 3.4? If it was from rpms, then the old KDE version was overwritten.

If you installed KDE to a different prefix to the old one, then you can uninstall the old version using rpmdrake. If however the KDE stuff went into the old prefix, you will break you KDE installation if you try and uninstall the old version. You should have uninstalled the old version first before compiling a new version.

If its in a different prefix, then it should be okay to uninstall the old KDE version.
