How to uninstall lpcap
 

Hi everyone!

I need to install the latest libpcap package (0.8.1) and just installed it over the old one(which probably is a bad thing because some functions don't get recognized)

so now i want to uninstall everything and reinstall only the newest version.

As I'm a linux noob i don't know how to remove the installed packages.

So please help.

PS:i don't know if this is important... i installed the package from a tar.gz file
