how to stream video from a BT848 TV card

Hi!!!

I need to stream video from my tv card to my work so I can see olympics games on my work.

My TV card is working well. I need to know what software should I use to be a streaming server. I've search and found mpeg4ip but that seems to be to stream mpeg video files not TV.

I have Fedora 9, 64 bits.

thanks!!

vlc has a built in streamer

if you have enough bandwidth you could use netcat or socat, if you need to cut the stream down a bit first you could filter it with mencoder
