How to start IPOP3D manually, not from XINETD


Hi,
I try to start ipop3d by /usr/sbin/ipop3d and i get:
+OK POP3 myhost.mydomain.com v2000.69rh server ready

But it doesnt start.
Does anyone know how to start it manually, not from xinetd. Right now im not running xinetd.

uncomment the service in inetd perphaps.
