Unhappy How to show images in lynx?

I'm using slackware's text interface (no GUI). And I'm using lynx to surf the internet, but right now I cannot see the images.

Anyone knows how to enable lynx to show the images?

Lynx is a text only browser.

here you go : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynx_%28web_browser%29
Quote:
Lynx cannot inherently display various types of non-text content on the web, such as images and video,[2] but it can launch external programs to handle it, such as an image viewer or a video player.
